“Dad—”
“Let me finish first please,” he requested, while holding
his hand up, cutting me off before I could finish.
I nodded and waited for him to go on.
“You’ve only known each other a few weeks. And I know
how easily things can get out of hand. But if what the two of you have is meant
to be more than a summer romance, then it will be worth the wait. So are you
still on board with my conditions?”
“Yes.
I was only going to say, I had no intention of taking things that far while we
are still here. I won’t lie and say I don’t find her incredibly attractive, or
that that thought has never crossed my mind. But I would never disrespect her like that, Dad.”
Hmm, I wonder what Carlisle's conditions are and if him and Edward could be talking about what Bella told Edward about herself?
